Roberta Annan
Chairperson & CEO
A dynamic business executive and philanthropist with over a decade of experience in international business expansion, impact investment, and government relations. She is the Founder and Executive Chairperson of the UN Global Compact Recognised company- Annan Capital Partners, a boutique investment and advisory firm specializing in philanthropy advisory, venture building fund managed and own balance sheet impact investments. Through her leadership, she has spearheaded initiatives such as the 150 million Impact Fund for African Creatives (IFFAC), platform which supports the growth of Africa’s creative industries and sustainable textile manufacturing through one of its silos, Black Heritage Textiles Group (BHTG). A recognized leader in sustainable development, Roberta serves as a United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador, where she advocates for Africa’s Green Recovery and fosters public-private partnerships to drive environmental and socio-economic progress. She has played instrumental roles in strategic investment projects. Roberta’s extensive career includes advisory roles for high-net-worth individuals and global brands, supporting market entry strategies and impact-driven investments across Africa.
She has worked with entities such as the United Nations Development Programme, UN Global Alliance for ICT & Development. She holds an MSc in Biotechnology from Georgetown University and a BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Carleton University. Her contributions have been recognized with numerous awards and recognition by Forbes, CNBC, CNN, BBC and Bloomberg. She was also named in 2021 as one of the 100 most influential Africans and 2025 – WEF New Champion. She is also on the board of ForAfrika Foundation and the African Fashion Foundation, a non profit she founded in 2012, that incubates and awards scholarships to budding African fashion designers.

CIO & Head of Fund Management
Over 15 years designing and scaling the systems, partnerships and funding mechanisms that help entrepreneurs and ventures grow across Africa, spanning capital markets, SME finance, venture building and ecosystem development. Investment Lead at The Innovation Village in Kampala, leading initiatives valued at over USD 4 million and managing startup sourcing, due diligence and investment readiness across seven institutional partners including WFP, Mastercard Foundation and UNCDF. She designed and launched InsureX, Uganda’s first insurtech accelerator and regulatory sandbox. Previously Investment Lead at Adanian Labs, Senior Investment Manager at Balloon Ventures, and Senior Operations Associate at Suntra Investment Bank and Dyer and Blair Investment Bank. BBA in Accounting and Finance from Kenya Methodist University. She has helped mobilise over USD 7 million in grant, venture capital and SME financing.

Kingsley Osei Amponsah
CTO & Group Operations Manager
Kingsley Amponsah brings a background in operations, technology, and business growth to his role as Group Operations Manager at Annan Capital Partners, where his mandate spans the group’s SEC Ghana Fund Manager licensing strategy, the Impact Fund for Africa VCC structure, and the operating and technology infrastructure underpinning ACP’s fundraising and deal execution mandates. He is a co-founder of Swoove, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and later Chief Growth Officer, helping scale the logistics platform into five African countries and the United States. He also led the digital infrastructure build for THRYLL, a ticketing platform that scaled under his stewardship to serve over 1,000 events and process more than 5 million tickets, and drove the product and commercial launch of MojoShop under Mojo Payments Ltd, a Commerce-as-a-Service platform bridging suppliers, logistics, and digital payment channels for the Ghanaian market.
Earlier in his career, he worked across teams shipping products across fintech, e-commerce and logistics, and was selected from thousands of applicants worldwide for the Techstars 2024 Global Accelerator Program, among the top startups worldwide, and has been recognised by MTN, the World Bank, and ABSA Bank for innovation in technology and logistics.

Chartered Accountant
Strategic Finance Leader and Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience driving financial performance, corporate transformation, and regulatory compliance within the oil and gas and professional services sectors. Currently serving as Finance Manager for MISA Energy Ghana Ltd and Mocoh Ghana, leading financial strategy, ERP-driven digital transformation, capital restructuring, and enterprise performance management to deliver measurable operational and financial improvements.
Known for strengthening governance, optimizing cash flow and working capital, and successfully managing complex audits with zero material findings, he leverages finance as a strategic tool for business growth and decision-making. Passionate about building high-performing teams and advancing strong corporate governance, with recognition as one of the Top 50 Most Effective CFOs – CFO Summit 2025.
