This site is information, not advice

This is the most important thing on this page, so we will put it plainly. Everything published here — our service descriptions, the blog, portfolio and fund information, figures and commentary — is provided for general information only.

• It is not investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it is not a personal recommendation. It takes no account of your circumstances, objectives or risk tolerance.
• It is not an offer to sell, nor a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, fund interest or financial product, and it is not a prospectus or offering document. Any investment would be made only on the terms of formal documentation, with separate professional advice.
• It is not directed at anyone in a jurisdiction where publishing or acting on it would be contrary to local law.

Advisory and investment services are provided under a signed engagement, not through this website. A relationship with ACP begins when we agree one in writing — sending us a message through this site does not create one.

Licensing status

Some of the activities described on this site are carried on through licensed partners, or are subject to licences and regulatory approvals that are still in progress. Where a licence or approval is described as applied for, in progress or expected, it has not been granted. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim to hold a licence or authorisation that we do not currently hold.

Accuracy

We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free from error or omission, or that it is complete or up to date. Figures, fund sizes, portfolio holdings and team details change, and pages are not always updated the moment they do. Before relying on anything here, confirm it with us.

Using the site

You may read, print and share this site for your own lawful use. You may not:

• use it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or to impersonate ACP or anyone connected with us;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system, or introduce malicious code;
• interfere with its operation, including by placing an unreasonable load on it or harvesting data from it by automated means; or
• reproduce, republish or exploit its content commercially without our written permission.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, photography, graphics, logos and layout — belongs to ACP or to our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. The ACP name and mark are ours. Third-party names and logos that appear on this site, including those of clients, partners and portfolio companies, belong to their respective owners and appear with permission; nothing here grants you any right to use them.

You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Anything more needs our permission.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another organisation, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content by linking to them, and are not responsible for them. Following an external link is at your own risk.

Getting in touch

When you send us a message through this site, please do not include confidential or sensitive information in it. Email and web forms are not secure channels, and no duty of confidentiality arises until we have agreed an engagement. How we handle what you do send is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Beware of impersonation

People do impersonate investment firms. ACP will never ask you to send money on the strength of an email, a social media message or a phone call alone. Treat any payment request that does not match a signed engagement letter and an ACP invoice as suspect, and verify it with us on the published number above before acting on it. Check that correspondence comes from an @annancapitalpartners.com address, and tell us at once if you see our name, branding or staff being used to solicit payments or investment.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, or the whole of it, without notice.

Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACP is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from reliance on anything published on it — including loss of profit, loss of business or any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction — except that either of us may apply to any court of competent jurisdiction for urgent or interim relief.
