Our roots are in Ghana.
Our perspective is African.

Homegrown in Ghana, with a presence in Mauritius, ACP brings an African perspective to investment and business development. Our work connects investors with enterprises and projects across the continent and beyond.

The Annan Capital Partners experience brings together own-balance-sheet investments, commodity trading, family-office support, fundraising, impact investment and venture building. Annan Capital Partners carries that breadth into a group of businesses with distinct commercial ambitions.

We work with family offices, impact funds, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, global corporations and governments. Each relationship begins with an understanding of the client’s objectives and the market in which they operate.

Roberta Annan

Chairperson and CEO

Roberta Annan’s career connects international business expansion, impact investment and government relations. She founded Annan Capital Partners and the African Fashion Foundation, bringing business development and creative opportunity into the same broader mission.

Her work has included advising high-net-worth individuals and global brands on African market entry and impact-driven investment, and developing initiatives for the creative industries, including the Impact Fund for African Creatives.

Her UNEP biography identifies her as a Goodwill Ambassador advocating for Africa’s green recovery. Her environmental work connects sustainable fashion with public-private collaboration for environmental and socioeconomic progress.

Her creative-economy work connects education and business development. Through the African Fashion Foundation, this includes scholarships, incubation and access to industry networks. IFFAC provides a separate investment initiative focused on the financing and management-capacity needs of creative businesses.

In June 2026, Roberta signed ACP’s agreement with Ghana’s 24H+ authority for a proposed creative-arts fund, continuing that focus on the infrastructure and finance behind creative enterprise.

Experience across business and development.

Roberta’s experience includes work with the United Nations Development Programme and the UN Global Alliance for ICT and Development. She holds an MSc in Biotechnology from Georgetown University and a BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Carleton University.

Her public biography records board involvement with ForAfrika and the African Fashion Foundation. Her work has also received recognition in investment and African leadership, including the distinctions recorded below.

Her 2019 Global Landscapes Forum biography records professional involvement with the Young Presidents’ Organization, the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle and Invest Africa. These networks form part of a career connecting African businesses with international markets.

UNEP biography

Make Africa investable.
And relevant to the world.

Bridging the gap profitably.

Our purpose is to connect investors with opportunities and help turn Africa’s potential into sustainable ventures. We bring emerging and developed markets into conversation, matching capital and expertise with the businesses shaping the continent’s future.

Commercial growth and social and economic progress belong in the same conversation. Our vision is to add lasting value to meaningful enterprises through professional competence, varied experience and a commitment to growth.

Relationships built to last.

Our culture places trust, transparency and planning at the centre of long-term relationships. We aim to create meaningful ventures and connect commercial growth with social and economic development.

We take time to understand the families, founders and organisations we work with: what they want to build, what they want to protect and how they see the future. That understanding shapes a relationship beyond a single transaction.

African enterprise draws strength from different experiences and perspectives. Our work brings together commercial expertise, creative talent and community participation, with women’s empowerment, education and environmental responsibility among our social-investment priorities.
