About us and these terms
This website, annancapitalpartners.com, is operated by Annan Capital Partners (“ACP”, “we”, “us”), a pan-African investment holding and investment banking advisory house headquartered in Mauritius and operating primarily from Ghana. Our offices:
- Accra: One Airport Square, 7th Floor, Airport City, Accra, Ghana
- Mauritius: The Junction Business Hub, Arsenal Branch Road, Calebasses, Pamplemousses 20201, Mauritius
You can contact us at info@annancapitalpartners.com or on +233 (0) 302 935 194. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of how you use this website.
Information only: no offer, no advice
The content of this website is for general information. Nothing on it is investment, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, a recommendation, or an offer, invitation or solicitation to buy, sell or subscribe for any security, fund interest or other financial product, or to enter into any transaction.
Ventures, funds and funding targets. References to our ventures, to funds and to amounts a business is seeking to raise describe plans and aims. They are not offers. Any offer of securities or fund interests is made only through formal offering documents, to eligible investors, and only where it is lawful.
Licensing and approvals. Some activities described on this website are in development, are subject to licensing or regulatory approval, or are carried out with or through appropriately licensed partners where local rules require it. Where a licence or approval is described as applied for, pending or expected, it has not yet been granted, and nothing here states that it has.
Track record and forward-looking statements. Statements about our experience, past activity and figures are given for information about us, as at the date of publication, and may change. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Statements about future plans or expectations are forward-looking and are not guarantees.
Where this website may be used. It is not directed at, and is not intended for distribution to or use by, anyone in a place where that would be contrary to local law or would require us to register or be licensed there. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
No client relationship until we sign
Visiting this website or sending us an enquiry does not create an adviser and client relationship, and does not oblige either of us to enter into any agreement. A relationship begins only when both parties sign an engagement letter that sets out the scope, fees, exclusivity, confidentiality and other terms.
Sending an enquiry does not by itself make what you send confidential. Please do not include confidential, price-sensitive or third-party personal information in an enquiry. Contact us and we will agree a safe channel and, where appropriate, a confidentiality agreement first.
Using the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- use it in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system, or probe or test its security without our written permission;
- interfere with its operation, including by overloading it or introducing malware or other harmful code;
- use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy its content, other than standard search engine indexing;
- impersonate any person or organisation or misrepresent your affiliation; or
- submit false or misleading information, or use the enquiry form to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or abusive or unlawful content.
We may restrict or block access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or the website is being misused.
Enquiries you send us
When you send an enquiry, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. If it includes anyone else’s personal information, you confirm that you have the right and the authority to share it. We handle what you send as described in our Privacy Policy. We may not be able to reply to every message.
Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, design, graphics, photographs, video, logos and software, belong to ACP or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The names, logos and marks of ACP, of the ventures and organisations mentioned, and of our partners belong to their respective owners, and mentioning them does not give you any licence to use them.
You may view this website and print individual pages for your own information or for internal business evaluation. You may not copy, republish, sell, modify, frame or create derivative works from its content without our prior written permission. Photographs and logos remain subject to the rights of their original owners. If you believe that something on this website infringes your rights, tell us and we will look into it promptly.
Third-party content, links and partners
This website links to other websites and can embed third-party content, such as video from YouTube. We do not control that content, do not endorse it, and are not responsible for it. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to it.
Where we mention or show the logo of an organisation, we do so to describe a relationship. That does not mean the organisation endorses this website or us, unless it says so.
Articles in our Insights section are published at a point in time. They may not reflect current facts, activities or availability, so please check the date on each one.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it will always be complete, current, uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
This website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law permits, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the same extent, we are not liable for any loss or damage, including loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of or inability to use this website, from reliance on its content, or from third-party websites or content. If you rely on anything here, you do so at your own risk and should take professional advice first.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Beware of impersonation
We confirm every engagement in a signed engagement letter. If you receive a request for payment that does not match a signed engagement letter and an invoice from us, treat it with caution and verify it with us, using the contact details on this website, before you pay anything. Contact us straight away if you think someone is pretending to be ACP.
Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and your rights under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). It also explains the cookie banner and how to change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website, with the date at the top, is the one that applies. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or this website, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either of us may seek urgent relief from any competent court. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any concern informally. Nothing here affects any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live.
General
These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of this website. If a provision is found to be unenforceable, the rest remain in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that is not a waiver of it. We may transfer our rights under these terms; you may not transfer yours without our written consent. The English language version governs.
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@annancapitalpartners.com.
