Ghana · 2020–2021

The programme brought funding and practical support together to help women-led businesses respond to an extraordinary disruption.

In June 2020, Annan Capital Partners joined the Women’s Empowerment and Investment Group (WEIG) and GUBA to launch the COVID-19 Stimulus Fund for women-led small and medium-sized businesses in Ghana.

The initiative responded to the pandemic’s impact with seed investment and business support. Ten businesses were named as recipients in December 2020, spanning agriculture, fashion, healthcare, media, real estate and recycling.
